Future research

This projects aims to:

• deepen the critical reflexion on the concept of development in Africa and its connection with cooperation;
• analyse the documents produced in the scope of cooperation, making a scientific analysis and divulging them, and giving special emphasis to the process of relations between European Union and Africa and to the cooperation between African countries;
• proceed to the quantification of processes of development and attempt to model some of these dynamics;
• catalogue, quantify and interpret decentralised cooperation in Portugal with the Portuguese-speaking African countries, through the municipal counties.
