On 22 and 23 October, the CEAUP, in collaboration with the Faculty of Letters of the University of Nouackchott, the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IAARS) and the University of Angers, is organising two days of methodological debate in archaeology and history on West Africa, and Mauritania in particular.
The aim of this meeting is to consolidate the foundations of an inter-disciplinary scientific cooperation project. The project includes research and publications in the fields of archaeology and contemporary history.
The programme of working days will be published in September.
