NATIONAL STRATEGY ON DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION 2018-2022

It was signed between Camões - Institute of Cooperation and Language and the Center of African Studies of Porto University a contract program to support the planning, monitoring and evaluation processes of the National Strategy of Development Education 2018-2022 and capacity building of the entities subscribers of the its Action Plan and the higher education institutions involved in its implementation running between 2018 and 2023.

 

To make this possible, the main results identified were: i) Data collection instrument regarding the implementation of ENED elaborated and implemented (RE0); ii) 6 Annual Activity Monitoring Reports (2018-2022), 4 Annual Activity Plans and 4 meeting memories elaborated and disseminated, based on the information submitted by the 16 subscribing entities to the ENED Action Plan (RE1); iii) Subscribing Entities to the ENED Action Plan, ARIPESE and its associates and other higher education institutions with strengthened capacity in terms of Development Education (RE2); iv) Support to the international team of Global Education Network Europe (GENE), responsible for carrying out the process of peer review (2021), and the teams responsible for the internal mid-term and final evaluation (RE3); Information on Development Education in Portugal made available and disseminated through an electronic platform, of resource centers and participation in national and international events (RE4).

 

The program agreement also settle a partnership with the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo given its experience in this area cemented in the follow up to ENED 2010-2015.
